The Samsung Galaxy S10 Lite will include a 3,100mAh battery
The battery capacity of the Galaxy S10 lineup has remained as one of the few unconfirmed features. But thanks to a new certification listing in Samsung’s home country of South Korea, the size of the Galaxy S10 Lite’s cell has just been revealed as 3,100mAh.
As a point of reference, this capacity represents a 100mAh gain over the 3,000mAh battery found inside the current-generation Galaxy S9. While this may not seem like much, it’s certainly an impressive feat. After all, due to the reduced bezels and the 0.05-inch decrease in display diagonal, the Galaxy S10 Lite is expected to be slightly smaller than Samsung’s current flagship.
In regards to the larger Galaxy S10 and Galaxy S10+, these smartphones have still not been certified in South Korea. However, one industry insider suggested way back in October that the latter model will include a 4,000mAh battery. This would suggest that the regular model will sit somewhere around 3,500mAh.
