Samsung is expected to unveil the Galaxy Note 5 and Galaxy S6 edge+ phablets in a few days, during a grand event in New York scheduled for August 13.

While most of the specifications of the two devices have been revealed by leaks and tips, today we get another interesting piece of info about what the Galaxy S6 edge+ will be all about.

It appears that Samsung or a third-party case maker believes that Sammy fans might benefit from getting a BlackBerry-like experience when using the Galaxy S6 edge+ phablet. Popular leakster @evleaks has just posted an image showcasing the phone with a QWERTY keyboard case attached to it.

As you can see in the image, the case features Android navigation buttons that look very reminiscent of the navigation buttons seen in older Galaxy smartphones.

Does this QWERTY keyboard case make sense to you?

Still, the accessory does give the Galaxy S6 edge+ a pretty strange look, but we guess some Samsung fans might appreciate it, especially if they like working with hardware keyboards and not software ones.

Replicating many of the Galaxy Note 5’s specifications, the Galaxy S6+ edge is expected to arrive with a 5.7-inch display with QHD resolution (2560 x 1440 pixel resolution) and should be taking advantage of an Exynos 7420 (and not a Snapdragon 808, as earlier rumors would have us believe) fitted with 3GB of RAM or 4GB of RAM (depending on whom you believe).

The phone should come packing a 3,000 mAh battery on the inside and will probably arrive without a microSD card slot, like the single-SIM Galaxy Note 5 model. On top of that, the phone will probably follow the pattern of the Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 edge and not offer a removable battery.

Word on the street has it that Samsung plans to heavily market the Galaxy S6 edge+. The approach will be more guarded as far as the Galaxy Note 5 is concerned, as the phablet will be initially made available in select markets.
