Following numerous leaks and ahead of the expected unveiling later this month, Samsung has now published official renders of the upcoming Galaxy J6+ and J4+ (set to be known as the J6 Prime and J4 Prime in certain markets) which reveal every last design detail.

Starting off with the larger Galaxy J6+, the smartphone will follow in the footsteps of Samsung’s most recent devices by adopting a tall Infinity Display up front. However, unlike the panels featured on the brand’s more premium devices, no rounded corners are present. When it comes to the bezel situation, the side ones are relatively thin and the bottom one is of average size. The top one, on the other hand, matches the size of the bottom bezel but is also home to a notification light, an in-ear speaker, and a front-facing camera.

Switching over to the rear of the smartphone, the back panel is made out of plastic and appears to sport a very slight pattern which gives it a slightly more modern look. In terms of the camera department, a small vertical module has been placed towards the center and is home to two sensors. Also, an LED flash has been placed to the right of the sensors. On a final design note, the Galaxy J6+ includes a speaker and a side-mounted fingerprint reader which doubles as the power key on the right side of the frame, while the left side is home to two volume buttons.

When it comes to the Galaxy J4+, the smartphone replicates the design of the J6+ more or less entirely, albeit in a slightly smaller package. In fact, when comparing the front and rear of both models, the only difference appears to be the presence of just one rear camera instead of two on the J4+. Similarly, the left side of the frame is home to two volume keys and the right includes a speaker. Interestingly, though, Samsung appears to have skipped the fingerprint scanner entirely, instead simply including a regular power button.

Presently, the pricing and release date of these two Snapdragon 425-powered devices is unknown. But considering Samsung is actively teasing their arrival on social media, it shouldn’t be too long before an announcement is made.
