The OnePlus 6T may be the best budget alternative when it comes to the premium flagship segment, but when consumers are simply looking for flagship-like performance, Xiaomi’s Pocophone F1 is gradually turning into the go-to phone.

In most markets, this particular smartphone is available in three finishes: Graphite Black, Steel Blue, and Kevlar. But at the moment, the latter variant, which is known as the Pocophone F1 Armored Edition, is only available with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. However, according to information obtained by MySmartPrice, this could soon change.

Reportedly, Xiaomi will be expanding the availability of its Armored Edition to include the base 6/64GB model and the mid-tier 6/128GB version. As Kevlar provides a slightly more premium feel than the basic plastic finish, though, it’ll cost slightly more than the regular versions – they usually retail for around $375 and $450 respectively.

While Xiaomi hasn’t yet made an announcement on the matter, it’s claimed that European markets will be the first to receive the new version followed by consumers in Asia. However, availability in the US is unsurprisingly not mentioned.
