Fans of the OnePlus brand that used to be everyone's favorite underdog when it delivered flagship level specc'd phones for $400, will be delighted to hear that they can attend the event where the next edition of the OnePlus saga - the 5T - will be announced. Unfortunately, they will have to shell out $40 for the privilege, but it's for a good cause, as the company will be donating the entry fee to charity.

The phone is supposed to see the light of day on November 16 in New York, and launched shortly thereafter on November 21 at 9:00 am ET (Eastern Time). The OnePlus 5T announcement event will be hosted under the title "A New View," perhaps in reference to the fact that the smartphone sports a 6-inch display with thin bezels, in contrast to all previous OnePlus handsets.

Needless to say, seeing the event in person beats streaming it live, yet with OnePlus, both options are available. The ticket sales are starting tomorrow, November 8, at noon Eastern, and, while waiting for OnePlus to finally announce it, you can check out our 5T rumor round-up and see if it will pique your interest enough to pick up a ticket.
