The Galaxy Note 9 unveiling is fast approaching and rumors about its alleged specs and design abound. Said design might differ slightly from what we have on the Galaxy Note 8 if an alleged screen protector panel leak for the Note 9 holds water in.

The info comes from a tipster account with a proven track record and depicts what looks like a glass protector that is almost identical with the ones for the Note 8, save for the top bezel which looks slightly thinner than on the current most prominent member of the Note family.

Disregard the writeup that says screen panel, this is obviously an edge-to-edge screen protector, and it shows that Samsung may ever-so-slightly tweak the design of the Note 9 from what we have on the Note 8, just like it did with the transition from the S8 to S9 earlier this year.

The biggest changes, however, are expected to be in the most important departments - latest chipsets, better low-light camera, and, above all, a much bigger battery, which has been the wish of many a Note fan since the line's introduction.

After all, what good is all that jazz, if the phone dies on you in the late afternoon, just before you hit the bar scene.

Check out all the little differences there were from the S8 to the S9's refined Infinity Display design to gauge what may be new with the Note 9, too.
