Following the positive feedback received from fans after the launch of its first notched smartphone, the Nokia X6, HMD Global is rumored to release a similar device next week. Since the Nokia X6 is exclusively available in China, the Finnish company is expected to bring its next notched handset in other markets as well.

The so-called Nokia X5, also known as Nokia 5.1 Plus, is a mid-range phone the will be officially introduced on July 11. Advertising material recently appeared in China shows an unannounced Nokia X series phone, although not much is known about its specs aside from the fact that it comes with a slightly lower resolution display in comparison with the Nokia X6.

Also, the upcoming Nokia X5 is said to include a MediaTek chipset inside since it's cheaper, not a Snapdragon processor as many would like. It is yet unclear whether or not HMD will launch two versions of the Nokia X5 based on the chipset model, but it's highly unlikely at the moment.

In the same piece of news, HMD Global is preparing another flagship powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 845 processor. Rumor has it, the Nokia 9 will ditch the notch, headphone jack, and wireless charging, but it will feature a Lumia-like camera design (like the one in the image below) and glass finish.

Not long after HMD's new flagship smartphone will make its debut, another mid-range device equipped with Qualcomm's Snapdragon 710 processor is rumored to be introduced in Q3 2018, but that's all we know about the phone.
