Nokia 7.1 Plus gets benchmarked with Snapdragon 710 and 6GB of RAM

Ahead of its expected debut next week as the Nokia X7 in China, the Nokia 7.1 Plus has just shown off some of its key specs in a new benchmarking appearance.

The smartphone has scored a total of 1827 on the single-core test and 5937 on the multi-core results. These numbers are possible thanks to the octa-core Snapdragon 710 which is included inside, just as previously rumored. Alongside this, HMD Global has also equipped the smartphone with a very respectable 6GB of RAM which is rumored to arrive in combination with 128GB of storage. Also, Android 8.1 Oreo is listed. Due to HMD Global’s history of speedy updates, though, Android 9 Pie will likely be pushed out to the smartphone by the end of the year.

Aside from these few details, previous leaks have suggested a 6.2-inch display will be included. In the camera department, Nokia has already teased a new ZEISS-branded setup. This is expected to feature a main 13-megapixel sensor and a secondary 12-megapixel one. Additionally, a 20-megapixel camera will be present up front.

Presently, it’s unclear when the Nokia 7.1 Plus will arrive in international markets. After all, if HMD Global’s recent releases are anything to go by, the device will likely be exclusive to China for at least two or three months. Because of this, the company is expected to focus on the regular Nokia 7.1 for the time being.
