Nokia 6 is the third smartphone launched by HMD to join the Android Oreo beta program, after Nokia 5 and Nokia 8. Those who own the Nokia 6 have two choices: either enroll the beta program and start testing Android Oreo, or wait for HMD to release the final version of the update.

According to HMD's Chief Product Office, Juho Sarvikas, Nokia 6 owners who want to download the beta version of Android Oreo must subscribe to Nokia Mobile Beta Labs (you can find the link below).

Obviously, if you're not into testing new software, it's better to wait for the final release, which can't be too far away. Android Oreo beta for Nokia 6 is likely to have some bugs, while some features might not work as intended. Well, that's why HMD is taking some time to test the Android Oreo build before pushing it out to Nokia 6 users.

It's worth mentioning HMD is expected to release another Android Oreo update, as Nokia 3 has been confirmed for the upgrade as well. However, this one might not arrive until next year.
