Yes, it's true. All of it.

OnePlus has officially developed a meat fetish.

In what can only be described as a macabre and slightly disgusting video clip aiming to demonstrate the image stabilization capabilities of the OnePlus 5T against the Galaxy S8, OnePlus has a dauntless chap wearing a Lady Gaga-esque full-body armor of real meat being jumped at by a shepherd dog.

Yes, it's as bad as it sounds, and we can easily think of at least 2,000 other scenarios where the video stabilization could have been demonstrated without the use of raw meat. It's bad, it's unfunny, unoriginal, and does little to promote the capabilities of the OnePlus 5T but instead only relies on the "shock" factor that guerrilla marketing is known for.

The company's marketing struggles have bounced between the hit-and-miss ends of the spectrum for as long as we can remember, with the disturbingly weird ads dominating the portfolio, and don't get us started on its promotional campaigns that were either super-sexist or made gullible folks smash their devices with the hopes of earning a new device.
