Twitter has just released an update for its iOS app. The latest version (7.33) packs a number of nifty features, the most notable of which is the new Data saver toggle.

So, how will Data saver help users save data? When enabled, the new feature will block videos from auto-playing in the app. Additionally, Twitter will provide low-resolution previews of images to users who have Data saver turned on. The toggle can be found in the "Data usage" section of Settings and will work on all Twitter accounts connected to a particular iOS device.

Aside from that, the update also brings additional controls for group messages that introduce a simpler way of controlling who is in a particular group. The last changes mentioned in the changelog include improvements to VoiceOver poll interactions and better labels for certain types of ads.

You can download the latest version of Twitter by heading to its App Store listing.
