It's first impressions time! Aaron takes a look at the Moto G, Motorola's newest smartphone. The Moto G offers up a 1.2 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 400 CPU, 4.5-inch 720p HD display, 5-megapixel camera, 1 GB of RAM, 8 or 16 GB of internal storage, a 2,070 mAh battery, customizable back covers, and Android 4.3 Jelly Bean.

The most important thing to keep in mind is the price tier of the Moto G, and where it fits in the overall wireless space. This phone isn't intended to compete with the HTC One, LG G2, Samsung Galaxy Note 3. That said and keeping in mind the other smartphones in the sub-$200 price tier, the Moto G is a fantastic offering. I really enjoy Motorola Assist and Motorola also continues along on the personalization trend with the G, which is nice. Users can purchase back 'shells' in a range of colors for $14.99, and flip cases for $29.99.
