It's been almost 24 hours since Mojang released the new major update for Minecraft: Pocket Edition on Android and iOS platforms.

Last week the game developer confirmed it has submitted the update to all three platforms, but it looks like Microsoft, the company owning Mojang, was a bit slower than Google and Apple and approved the update one day later.

Nevertheless, update 0.11 is now available for Windows Phone players, along with all the new stuff it brings. Speaking of which, this update includes lots of new features and improvements, but one of the most important seems to be the fact that players can now change their appearance in-game through the use of skins.

Skins are available for purchase in bundles of 20 for $0.99 / €0.79 / £0.79, but they can also be obtained for free if you upload a skin from the Internet, create your own skin using the Minecraft: Skin Studio and then upload it to Pocket Edition, or simply use one that's available for free.
Boats for two and baby zombies? Yes please

Apart from skins, Mojang also confirmed the game is now available in 14 languages: German, English, Spanish (Spain), Spanish (Uruguay), French (France), Canadian French, Italian, Portuguese, Brazilian Portuguese, Russian, Chinese, Simplified Chinese, Korean, and Japanese.

Additionally, update 0.11 brings boats for two, squids, spider jockeys, bats, edible clownfish, baby zombies, as well as a new World Edit screen where players can rename worlds and change game modes.

You can now download Minecraft: Pocket Edition for Windows Phone for $6.99 via Windows Phone Store. The game should be fully compatible with all devices powered by Windows Phone 8.1 and up.

Because there is so much stuff included in this update, we have attached the full update 0.11 changelog below, so make sure you check it out if you want to know what's new.
