Microsoft Developing Cross-Platform Sharing App for Windows Phone, Android & iOS
It's only been a few days since word got out that Microsoft plans to launch an iOS email/chat hybrid application called Flow, and now it looks like information about another unannounced app emerged online.
The so-called OneClip application will be available on all major mobile platforms, such as Android, iOS and Windows Phone, but it will also be launched on Windows.
The information was leaked by @WalkingCat (also known as h0x0d), the same persons that brought us details on Microsoft's Flow app for iOS devices.
OneClip is a cross-platform cloud clipboard application, which will allow users to copy and paste documents, photos, text and phone numbers to share between many devices regardless of the platform.
There's no limit of how many devices you can pair, and according to the app's official description OneClip is secure and intelligent.
For the time being, OneClip is in beta so Microsoft is now internally testing it. However, you can now download OneClip (beta) for Windows Phone for free via Windows Phone Store.
We expect both Microsoft applications, Flow and OneClip, to be officially introduced in the coming weeks. Still, it will be interesting to see if developers will launch them on all supported platforms at the same time
