Just a few hours ago, we told you that the list of Lumia smartphones upgradable to Windows 10 Mobile just leaked online. But what about future devices running on the above mentioned operating system?

Well, today, Microsoft has been kind enough to detail the basic specifications Windows 10 Mobile will require to function properly on future mobile phones. This also provides us with good insight into what we should expect to see not only from Microsoft but also from partner OEMs as well.

More than that, it’s pretty exciting to see that the specifications are fairly similar to the requirements of Windows 8.1, although in this case they are a lot more relaxed.

As we recently told you, Microsoft wants to make a name for itself in the low-end smartphone market, so it will be partnering with Qualcomm for the creation of a bunch of Snapdragon 210-enhanced mobile devices.

These low-end Windows 10 Mobile devices will be compatible with 800 x 480 pixel resolution, 512MB of RAM, 4GB of internal storage, a VGA shooter (no front-facing camera), but no accelerometer or Bluetooth.

Moreover, Intel is included for x86 support on phones, as well as tablets. So now we know for sure what’s to come on the low-end market in terms of Windows 10 Mobile devices.
