Microsoft launched three Windows 10 for Phones Technical Preview builds since February, and although the company promised the next builds would arrive much faster, it looks like there are some issues with the next one.

According to Microsoft's Gabe Aul, the next Windows 10 build for Lumia smartphones will take a little longer to be released, but he did not share any other details on the reasons behind the delay.

But there are some good news too, as Microsoft's official confirmed that the next build would further expand support to additional Windows Phone smartphones.

As many Windows Phone users probably know by now, the first Technical Preview build was only compatible with six Lumia smartphones. However, the next release brought support for a lot more devices, except for one very important one: the Lumia 930.

Hopefully, new features and improvements will be included too

A few days before the release of the second Windows 10 for Phones Technical preview, Microsoft announced that Lumia 930 wouldn't be on the list of the supported devices since they had found a device-specific issue that couldn't be fixed in time.

The third Technical Preview build was only a minor update that enabled some features and fixed some issues, but it didn't brought support for the Nokia Lumia 930 or any other smartphone.

Well, it looks like the next Windows 10 for Phones build will finally bring support for Nokia Lumia 930, which is one of the few Microsoft flagship smartphones launched on the market.

Along with Lumia 930, another Windows Phone handset, the Nokia Lumia ICON, will receive support for Windows 10 for Phones Technical Preview.

It remains to be seen when exactly Microsoft will be able to release the next Windows 10 for Phones build for Windows Insiders, since the only thing we know right now is that it will be slightly delayed.
