Don’t think smartphones today are big enough to suit your needs? Well, the handset built by the folks behind this particular Indiegogo campaign might be what you have been desiring all-along.

It’s called the Boss and is large and towering, as the name suggests. This is a 7-inch Android smartphone with dual-SIM capabilities which comes with Tor – reportedly the world’s most secure network.

Boss offers 1920 x 1200 resolution and draws life form a MediaTek octa-core processor fitted with 16GB of internal storage (expandable via microSD).

The handset also has an 8MP main camera and a 2MP frontal one, 4G LTE, 3G support, a 3000 mAh battery (good for up to 20 hours of battery life) and Android 5.0 Lollipop out of the box.

But the Boss’ main selling point is the Tor functionality which bestows rooted encryption for advanced levels of security, providing protection against hackers, malicious third parties and private data collection by corporations.

On their Indiegogo, the team behind the extremely private smartphone is asking $275 / €230 for a unit (for first responders), but when the device officially goes on sale, it will sell for $355 / €297.

So if the Tor-enabled smartphone sounds good to you, go ahead and make a pledge.
