LG Tone Infinim is the longest-lasting neck Bluetooth headset, comes with exclusive G3 features

LG has partnered with the sound specialists from Harman Kardon for its new Tone Infinim (HBS-900) behind-the-neck Bluetooth headset. Besides the audiophile-friendly options, it is the longest-lasting of its kind, with up to 550 hours of stand-by, 17 hours of talk time, and 14 hours of playback on a charge, out of a 220mAh battery. LG offers an innovative retractable cord tech with Tone Infinim, so the earbud cables never get tangled in one another, or swap he magnetic pods they rest in while not in use, which often happens with the current Tone edition.

What really piqued our interest regarding the Tone Infinim set, though, is the fact that LG says it is specifically meant to be used with the upcoming G3 flagship: "LG’s newest premium headset co-developed with Harman/Kardon will be the perfect companion device to complement our new flagship smartphone LG G3, offering superior sound for a superior phone,” says Dr. Jong-seok Park, CEO of LG Mobile. SAid unique features are Name Alert, which reads aloud the name of the caller, or the phone number you are receiving the call from, and Answer Me+, where the headset automatically disconnects if you raise the G3 to your ear.

The silver Harman/Kardon-branded Tone Infinim will be available soon in global markets for a price yet to be determined, and more color options will trickle down later on.
