LG launched the L Fino and L Bello entry-level smartphone a few months ago and the smartphone is now available worldwide. However, it looks like the company felt the need to up its game with a few more affordable smartphones that seem like variations of the two devices mentioned earlier.

The G2 Lite, as the name suggests, is a very affordable alternative to the high-end LG G2, which was the company’s flagship smartphone from last year.

The second device silently launched by LG is called L Prime. Both smartphones have been listed on the company’s official website in Brazil and are only available for purchase in this country for the moment, GforGames points out.

In fact, they may be just regional versions of the LG L Fino and L Bello with slightly different specs. Unfortunately, there’s no way to tell for now, as they have just been released and LG hasn’t made any comments on the matter.

Moving on to what these smartphones have to offer, the LG G2 Lite is powered by Android 4.4 KitKat operating system and sports a decent 4.5-inch IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen display that supports 480 x 800 pixels resolution.

The G2 Lite packs an 8-megapixel rear-facing camera with autofocus, LED flash and WVGA video recording, while in the front there’s a secondary VGA camera for video calls.

The smartphone is equipped with a 1.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 processor, 1GB of RAM and only 4GB of internal memory. However, users will be able to further expand storage up to 32GB via microSD card slot.

It also comes with 3G and Bluetooth connectivity, as well as Wi-Fi, FM Radio, 3.5mm audio jack and GPS with A-GPS support.

LG G2 Lite can be purchased in black and white for just $245 (€200) off contract.

Both come packed with LG's proprietary Knock Code and Quick Selfie features

Next in line, the LG L Prime has much bigger 5-inch IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen display that supports the same 480 x 800 pixels resolution.

The 8-megapixel photo snapper on the back features autofocus, LED flash and HD (720p) video recording. There’s also a secondary 1.3-megapixel camera in the front, which is slightly better than LG G2 Lite’s.

The smartphone is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor and 1GB of RAM. It also packs 8GB of storage and microSD card slot for memory expansion.

LG L Prime offers a variety of connectivity options, including digital TV, FM Radio, 3G, GPS with A-GPS, Bluetooth, 3.5mm audio jack and microUSB 2.0.

The L Prime is available in White, Gold and Titanium for $265 (€210) outright.
