LG has silently confirmed the unveiling of its upcoming smartphone next month, likely at the MWC 2014, in a press release. The company has also confirmed that the product will be named LG G Pro 2, but it has neither revealed its specs, nor has it released any press images.

If reports are to be believed, LG G Pro 2, which will be the successor to the LG G Pro, will feature a 6-inch display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels, and will run Android 4.4 KitKat. It is expected to have a fingerprint scanner.

The phone is likely to come powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 800 processor coupled with 3GB of RAM.
