LG G Flex 2 Goes on Sale January 30 in South Korea for $737
The LG G Flex 2 is the first smartphone to be officially announced with the controversial Snapdragon 810 chipset, so many have been wondering whether the company will manage to stick to its original launching time frame.
At CES 2015, LG said that it would be making the bendy device available towards the end of the month, and luckily for customers interested in the model, the company is keeping true to its word.
The atypical LG smartphone will go on sale in South Korea starting January 30 for the equivalent of $737 / €636 a pop. That’s a pretty steep price, but other markets will probably see slightly differentiated price tags.
After South Korea, LG will be launching the handset around the world, with the US included. AT&T, Sprint and US Cellular are all scheduled to start offering the curvy device.
So it appears that the Snapdragon 810, companies like Samsung have been fearing, will indeed be served on time.
Earlier today, we told you that an LG representative was heard saying that Qualcomm’s high-end platform didn't suffer from any issues and was in fact the least overheating processor they had seen in a while.
So could it be that all the fuss around the Snapdragon 810 was for naught?
