Lenovo Z5 to be announced on June 5, promises 4TB internal storage, 45-day standby time

Lenovo Z5 may be one of the most exciting smartphones to make its way to the market in the first half of the year. The Chinese company teased its upcoming flagship in the last couple of weeks saying that the Z5 will offer four technological breakthroughs and hardware based on 18 patented technologies.

Earlier today, Lenovo's VP confirmed the Z5 will be introduced on June 5. Furthermore, the smartphone is supposed to offer no less than 4TB of internal memory (yes, this is not a typo), and up to 45-day of standby time (also not a typo).

Not to mention that Lenovo says the Z5 will feature a 95 percent screen-to-body ratio, an impressive feat even by today's standards. But that's not all, as Lenovo claims its phone can still offer users a talk time of half an hour after the battery reaches zero percent.

The rest of the phone's specs are shrouded in mystery but come June 5, we'll find out more about Lenovo's first truly innovative smartphone, or at least the company's most impressive achievement in the smartphone industry.
