Last year, prices on a whole went up, with unit sales for everyone going down at the same time. The market’s maturing and users, particularly Eastern, want lower prices.

To that end, Samsung will launch the Galaxy S9 with a $850 price tag, according to a British industry source. However, unlike last year, several other smartphones will also launch early, to gain market share early on with the Korean tech giant. Out of these, we’re seeing a lot of spurious leaks for Xiaomi’s Mi7. Take a look below for the details.

Another Alleged Screenshot For The Xiaomi Mi7 Shows Specifications Completely Expected From A Flagship Smartphone; Device Will Also Launch In March, Claims Rumor

Yesterday, a detailed leak for the Mi7 came to light. According to a screenshot, expect major brainstorming as complete. A screenshot of specifications shows impressive display specifications, despite belonging to an older MIUI version. Today, more specifications from another screenshot come to light. These corroborate yesterday’s details as well as adding a couple of their own. It updates the MIUI version for the smartphone, up from what surfaced yesterday.

While this leak sounded credible, a big question mark around the software version did not lend it more credibility. Today, a fresh leak from China adds more details. 8GB RAM will supplement Qualcomm’s upcoming smartphone, and users will get listed storage of 128GB. The screenshot shows it running Xiaomi’s MIUI 9.2.5.0, upgrading yesterday’s claim. Unfortunately, there are no details for the display. However, it’s expected that the Mi7 will use a 2160×1080 display, a factor also listed on yesterday’s screenshot. This will lend it a perfect 18:9 aspect ratio, at least for the display. And since a 2018 flagship is unlikely to launch without a minimum bezel display, expect this number to closely correspond with the Mi7 dimensions.

Available storage falls to 94.72GB, which is too short of the which the source of this information claims. Nevertheless, this is a temporary issue. The good news is that by the looks of things, Xiaomi might be ahead for the Mi7. Or, ahead with Snapdragon 845 testing. Whatever the case, it will be interesting to see whether the next Adreno GPU will encourage switchers. Thoughts? Let us know what you think in the comments section below and stay tuned.
