Just about every major US carrier updated its LG V20 variant to Android Oreo, but the international version of the flagship hasn't seen the update yet. LG started to roll out the V20 Android 8.0 Oreo update back in July, but only in South Korea.

The US variant received the update as well, and now it looks like the international model is getting the same treatment. While some LG V20 users report they have received the update OTA (over the air), in many regions is only available through the LGUP tool.

The update weighs in at around 1.9GB and includes the September security patch. There are some other quality of life changes added in the update, but the most important new features and improvements come courtesy to Android 8.0 Oreo.

We can safely assume that the update is rolled out in waves, so it might not show up in all countries at the same time. If you have the unlocked international LG V20, you'll just have to wait until the update arrives in your country.
