We reported earlier today about a possible iOS port of Instagram on Windows 10 Mobile, which might arrive in Windows Store soon.

Windows Phone fans will be pleased to know that the application has just been made available for download in Windows Store, but it is only compatible with Windows 10 Mobile devices.
As expected, this is a work in progress, so if you don't want to download a beta version of Instagram, then you will have to wait a while longer until developers fix everything that's broken.
Another aspect worth mentioning is that the Instagram Beta for Windows 10 Mobile hasn't been ported from iOS platform using Project Islandwood, WindowsCentral reports.
Ported with Facebook's own technology According to developers, the Instagram beta application has been ported using Facebook's proprietary Osmeta technology, which seems to cope better with the team's porting plans.
As mentioned earlier, this a beta application, so expect some instability issues and bugs. The good news is Instagram Beta for Windows 10 Mobile seems to be feature-complete.
The beta version of Instagram allows users to edit photos and videos with free, custom-designed filters, as well as improve with 10 advanced creative tools to change brightness, contrast and saturation, along with shadows, highlights and perspective.
Furthermore, you will also be able to connect with other Instagram users from all over the world, as well as send private photo and video messages directly to friends.
Last but not least, developers have confirmed that there are some known issues that will be fixed in future updates, which, hopefully, will be delivered very soon.
If you plan on using Instagram Beta on your Windows 10 phone, you might encounter issues with Facebook login and “Share to” functionality, as well as crashes/stability in creation workflow.
You can now download Instagram Beta for Windows 10 Mobile for free via Windows Store. The application is only compatible with devices powered by Windows 10 Mobile.
