After testing Shopping in Stories since June, Instagram announced today that the new feature will be rolled out to everyone in the coming weeks. Apparently, two updates will be made available to Instagram users, which are meant to make it easier to shop using the app.


The Shopping in Stories will be rolled out globally and expanded to business in 46 countries. The feature will allow Instagram users who watch Stories from their favorite brands to immediately tap on a product to learn more about it.

The second update brings a Shopping channel in Explore, which will be personalized to each Instagram user. The Shopping channel will contain posts from the brands a user is following and brand that they might like.

According to Instagram, the Shopping channel in Explore will begin rolling out today and will expand globally over the coming weeks, so be patient if it doesn't show up in your app right away.
