It's been more than three months since Huawei released its new smartwatch on the market, but customers in the U.S. were skipped from the initial launch of the product. As a matter of fact, we didn't expect Huawei to bring the Watch GT in the U.S. at all, especially after so much time has passed.

Well, apparently there's one U.S. retailer that Huawei managed to convince to offer its Watch GT wearable device – Amazon. For those interested, the Huawei Watch GT is now available for pre-order on Amazon for $200. There's also a slightly more expensive model that comes with a stainless/brown strap, which costs $230.

The smartwatch comes with a larger 1.39-inch AMOLED display, built-in GPS, heart rate monitor, sleep tracker and a decent battery that promises to offer two weeks of battery life under certain conditions (heart rate monitor on, exercise for 90 minutes per week).

The Huawei Watch GT is fully compatible with iOS and Android phones but requires users to download the free companion app, Huawei Health, from the App Store or App Store to benefit from smart notification (caller ID, SMS, email, weather, calendar, and social apps).
