One of the many Huawei smartphones yet to be unveiled by the Chinese company made an appearance on Oppo's official webstore, along with price and specs attached to it.

The unannounced Huawei Mate S is expected to be officially launched in early September at IFA 2015 trade fair, but it won't come as a surprise if the company unveils the new smartphone later this month.

Design-wise, the Mate S does not bring anything new. The phone looks very similar to other Mate family of phablets, which might worry fans of the Chinese brand.

Anyway, the most important thing about Huawei Mate S is the technology that comes inside: Force Touch. This is the same display technology that is rumored to be included inside the iPhone 6S.

The Force Touch technology allows the smartphone to distinguish between strong and light touch and act accordingly. The device packing this technology will react differently, depending on how the user touches the display.

It will be available in both black and white color options

According to Oppomart's listing, Huawei Mate S will be available for purchase for no less than $600 outright, which is the standard price for top-of-the-line smartphones.

Oppomart also confirms some of the phablet's specs, such as the 5.7-inch capacitive touchscreen display that supports full HD (1080p) resolution and Force Touch technology.

On the inside, the device is equipped with a powerful octa-core HiSilicon Kirin K935 processor, which is complemented by 3GB of RAM and 64GB of internal memory.

Also, the Mate S will come with microSD card slot so that users can further expand storage, as well as dual-SIM and 4G LTE support.

It's also worth mentioning that Huawei Mate S will pack a 20-megapixel photo snapper on the back, which features autofocus LED flash and 4K video recording, as well as a secondary 8-megapixel selfie camera in the front.

The phablet will ship with Android 5.1 Lollipop OS with Emotion 3.1 UI on top, and will be powered by a generous 4,100 mAh battery.
