Officially unveiled stateside last month at CES 2018, the Huawei Mate 10 Pro won't be released via any US carrier. However, Huawei USA is launching an unlocked version of the smartphone (1-year warranty included), and pre-orders for it are available as of today, February 4.

At this very moment, you can pre-order the Huawei Mate 10 Pro from Amazon, Best Buy, B&H, and Newegg, all of which will properly release the handset on February 18. The new phone costs $799.99, and, for a limited time, it comes with a $150 Gift card. Interestingly, Huawei says the Mate 10 Pro will also be sold by Microsoft, but it's not clear if only online, or also through Microsoft Stores across the US.

The unlocked Mate 10 Pro will work on GSM/LTE carriers like AT&T, T-Mobile, Cricket Wireless, MetroPCS, and so on. Unfortunately, it won't be compatible with Verizon, Sprint, and US Cellular.

Running Android 8 Oreo out of the box (customized with Huawei's EMUI), the Mate 10 Pro is a water-resistant phone that offers various high-end features. For example, the handset sports a 6-inch, 1080 x 2160 pixels display (18:9 aspect ratio), and is powered by an octa-core Kirin 970 processor aided by 6 GB of RAM. You're also getting 128 GB of internal memory, a dual Leica-branded rear camera, and a 4000 mAh battery with fast charging. Amazon also lets you pre-order the fancier Huawei Mate 10 Porsche Design (with 256 GB of storage space), but this one costs more than an iPhone X. You can find both of Huawei's Mate 10 smartphones at the source links below. Let us know if you're planning to buy any of them, will you?
