We all know that HTC is preparing to enter the wearable device martket with a smartwatch, called HTC One Wear. In the list of rumors, @evleaks (a.k.a. Evan Blass) has added another one.

The new leak shows us a smartwatch that has the HTC One M8 look and feel with the white tracing of the clouds and sun that have come to characterize the main desktop of HTC’s Sense UI. Along with the familiar “Sense” comes the Google Hangouts notifications and highway notifications – all features of Android Wear that you’ll also find on the LG G Watch and the Samsung Gear Live.

The HTC Android Wear smartwatch comes with a metal wristband, similar to the metal look of the HTC One M8 and HTC One M7, so users should find a familiar feel to the band. We don’t know anything yet about battery life, price, or release date for the smartwatch. What we know at this point is that, if there’s a prototype being leaked, it’s likely that the HTC Android Wear smartwatch is set to arrive this Fall.

Taiwanese manufacturer HTC Corp. has had its share of troubles with sales. It’s One M7, announced last year, turned heads with its metal unibody; the HTC One M8 did the same this year, but customer sales started slumping in May when Samsung announced its Galaxy S5 and Gear 2 smartwatch. HTC announced at its One M8 presentation that the HTC One M8 would’ve FitBit compatibility so that the health-conscious among us could pair the FitBit Force fitness band with HTC’s 2014 darling for the purpose of activity tracking. On this basis alone, it’ll be interesting to see what fitness possibilities the HTC Android Wear smartwatch will offer that have yet to be seen by the company.
