Leaked Honor Magic 2 image

With just nine days to go until the Honor Magic 2 is announced, the bezel-less smartphone has been spotted on a TENAA listing in China and, rather unsurprisingly, it reveals every last specification.

Starting off with perhaps its most impressive feature, the device will boast a 6.39-inch AMOLED display that features a resolution of 2340 x 1080p. Due to the bezel-less nature of the display, Honor has implemented a slideable mechanism which will house a 16-megapixel selfie sensor and two Time-of-flight cameras that will enable 3D facial recognition, as seen on the Huawei Mate 20 Pro. Elsewhere in the photography department, 16 + 24 + 16-megapixel layout can be found on the rear.

Moving on to the internal side of things, the Honor Magic 2 will follow in the footsteps of Huawei’s Mate 20 series by adopting the new Kirin 980. Additionally, 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage will be present, although this will not be expandable. Other details include a very average 3,400mAh battery and Android 9 Pie straight out of the box.

When the Honor Magic 2 goes on sale next month, it’s expected to be available in a range of gradient colors. At the moment, pricing remains unknown. However, this particular listing has confirmed that those who purchase it will receive a protective case and a USB-C to 3.5mm headphone jack dongle in the box.
