The Essential Phone (see full specs here) launched in August of last year with a price tag of $700 and ambitions to compete against the best phones out there, but after various bug reports around the camera and screen responsiveness, the company has lowered the price and now we see the lowest yet: you can get the Essential Phone for just $450 at Best Buy (for a limited time).

Essential slashed the official price of the phone down to $500 a few months ago, and this is an addition $50 price cut.

Meanwhile, the company has already fixed some of the issues and while the camera performance is still mediocre, people recommend installing the Google camera app as a workaround. So if you don't mind tinkering with your phone a bit and just want to experiment with something new, the price cut on the Essential Phone makes it worth considering. It is a trend-setter in design with a beautiful, scratch-resistant ceramic back that you won't find on any other mainstream phone, and it has an edge-to-edge design with a tiny notch.

The full Essential Phone deal at Best Buy currently has the unlocked phone for $450 and a $25 Best Buy gift card as a gift.
