The beautiful Minecraft game developed by the folks at Telltale is now available for free on both the Android and iOS platforms. Well, at least the first episode is free, but that should be enough to give you an idea if it's worth buying the rest episodes or not.

Unlike Minecraft: Pocket Edition, Telltale's Minecraft: Story Mode is an adventure that stretches over eight chapters. Players embark on a dangerous journey across the Overworld, through the Nether, to the End, and beyond, as members of the legendary Order of the Stone.

The game features several classes such as Warrior, Redstone Engineer, Griefer, and Architect, each with unique abilities and powers that will help you defeat terrible monsters.

On top of that, Telltale hired some of the best voices in the entertainment industry to give life to some of the characters in the game: Patton Oswalt (Ratatouille, Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D), Brian Posehn (The Sarah Silverman Program, Mission Hill), Ashley Johnson (The Last of Us, Tales from the Borderlands), Dave Fennoy (The Walking Dead: A Telltale Games Series, Batman: Arkham Knight) and more.

Keep in mind that while the first episode is free, the rest must be purchased in-game for $4.99 each. However, if you like that first episode and decide that the game is worth your time, you can pay $25 a bundle that includes all episodes.

The current offer is probably aimed at those who've never played Minecraft before are not into this phenomenon, but what better way to correct that mistake by taking advantage of a free offer.
