Motorola’s going to unveil three smartphones at an event in Latin America next week. These will include the recently leaked Moto G8 & Moto G8 Plus and a third model that’s just appeared and is understood to be the Moto E6 Play.

Due to the budget nature of this phone, the Moto E6 Play is certainly nothing too special in terms of design. The front is adorned by a tall 18:9 display that’s paired with pretty thick bezels on either side and a huge one below. There’s also a pretty large one above the panel, although this is home to the in-ear speaker and selfie camera.

Turning the phone over reveals a glossy plastic rear panel which is particularly common in the low-end smartphone segment. It’s home to a horizontal camera setup which houses a single camera and an LED flash. Also present is the Motorola logo which seems to integrate a fingerprint scanner.

Elsewhere on the Moto E6 Play, a textured power button that sits directly below the volume rocker can be seen on the right side while on top sits a 3.5mm headphone jack. The bottom, on the other hand, is home to a 3.5mm headphone jack and an outdated micro-USB port rather than the newer USB-C connector.

The Motorola Moto E6 Play’s expected to arrive on Thursday, October 24, alongside the Moto G8 series. Sales should commence shortly after and it’ll presumably ship with Android 9 Pie on board. The phone’s specifications are yet to leak.
