HMD Global held an event last month and unveiled the long-anticipated Nokia X6, which took the Internet by a storm and was widely accepted by the Android community. But many were disappointed by the fact that the handset will only be available in China.

Shortly after, the company's CPO posted a poll on Twitter asking people if they want to see the device go beyond China's borders. The results were conclusive and Juho Sarvikas promised that the device would be sold outside China in the following months or weeks and now, we have a solid confirmation that the smartphone will hit the global market pretty soon.

According to Bluetooth certification websites, two global versions of the Nokia X6 with model numbers TA-1083 and TA-1116 are being prepared for a global launch. This is a clear indication that HMD Global really is gearing up for a release outside of China. It's important to note that the TA-1116 was spotted online on Russian and Taiwanese websites before the Moscow event meaning that those two countries will likely get the device earlier than expected.

The news comes shortly after the Nokia 5.1 Plus Bluetooth certification so they might launch together pretty soon.
