BlackBerry's first Android smartphone, the PRIV is already available in the United States through T-Mobile and AT&T, but the Canadian company announced the devices should also land at Sprint and Verizon.

BlackBerry's CEO John Chen confirmed the information about two months ago at CES 2016, but neither Sprint nor Verizon announced any release dates yet.
Even though two months have passed since BlackBerry's announcement, fans of the Canadian company still don't have a clue when the PRIV might be hitting shelves at Sprint or Verizon.
The good news is new details about the possible release of the PRIV at Verizon might just have been leaked via CrackBerry. It appears that, according to several Verizon employees, the carrier is now readying to out the BlackBerry PRIV.
The Android smartphone is expected to be officially introduced on March 3 and pre-orders should open on the same day. However, the PRIV won't hit shelves until March 11, so customers won't be able to get one in retailer stores until next week.

Hopefully, Verizon won't delay the launch of BlackBerry's Android phone

The information might have been confirmed by VP, Comms for Verizon's Consumer and Enterprise business, Jeffrey Nelson, in a tweet to a BlackBerry fan asking if the PRIV will be available for pre-order on March 3.
Unfortunately, since there's no official announcement that we can relate to, it's impossible to determine how accurate these rumors are at the moment.
Even if Verizon has decided that it's time to add the BlackBerry PRIV to its portfolio of Android smartphones on March 3, as Jeffrey Nelson puts it, “finger crossed” that nothing wrong will happen till then.
