We reported earlier today that BlackBerry has updated a few apps on the PRIV, which brought some new features and improvements to the Android smartphone like Slow Motion video support and better predictive texting.

Along with the Keyboard and Camera apps on the BlackBerry PRIV, another application received a major update that improves user experience and enhances the phone's functionality: BlackBerry Launcher.
The new Launcher on the BlackBerry PRIV should now offer a separate view of personal and work applications. The update brings default view for apps now divided into Recent, Personal, and Work.
You can make any panel a “home” panel BlackBerry Launcher users will also be able to set the “home” panel to any available panel, while in overview mode. Also, panels can now be deleted by pressing down for several seconds.
Flick to remove application shortcuts from the home screen is another new function included in the update, along with the fact that pop-up widgets are now enabled by default.
The Canadian developers also added improved overlays to offer users more information on app locations, launcher settings, pop-up widgets, and the productivity tab.
Last but not least, BlackBerry PRIV users who install or move apps to SD card will be able to see which one can't be used when they pull out the memory card. Those apps will now be grayed out when the SD card is not accessible for whatever reason.
Keep in mind that the new update should be pushed to your BlackBerry PRIV automatically if you enabled the automatic update feature for apps updates.
If not, you will have to open Google Play Store, tap the icon on the left side of the search bar, then select “My apps & games” from the menu that opens. Then, just tap “Update All” if you have more apps that need to be updated, or select which ones you want to download first.
