BlackBerry CEO John Chen has suggested that he would sell the company's BBM app for the right price.
Speaking at MWC, the smartphone boss said he would accept $19 billion (£11.3bn) for one of its most prized assets.

"If somebody comes to me with $19bn I would definitely sell it," he told CNBC. "I mean, I would recommend to the board to take it."
The sum is equal to the amount Facebook paid to acquire WhatsApp last week - though BBM attracts less than a fifth of WhatsApp's active user count.
Despite the claim, Chen indicated that a BBM sale is not something the company is setting out to achieve.

"I know there's a lot of value in messaging businesses... I think the right thing to do is to expand that and market as big as possible and then I [will] worry about the valuation later," he added.

Nokia recently confirmed that a Windows Phone version of BBM would land on its Lumia devices, although a specific date is yet to be revealed.
