The Asus Zenfone 5z, which went official in February this year during the Mobile World Congress (MWC) is finally coming to the market. According to a tweet from the Taiwanese company's Japanese Twitter account, the launch is set for June 15.

The Zenfone 5z is powered by Snapdragon 845 SoC and features a 6.2-inch display of 1080 x 2246 pixels. RAM options include 6GB and 8GB, while storage options include 64GB, 128GB, and 256GB. There's a 12MP dual camera setup on the back, and an 8MP front shooter.

The device features a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor, runs Android 8.0 Oreo, and packs in a 3,300mAh battery. During the unveiling, Asus revealed the handset will be available starting €479.
