Asus has announced the launch of a 7-inch variant of its PadFone phone-netbook-tablet combo in Taiwan. The Asus PadFone Mini 4.3 has a 4.3-inch phone that fits into the 7-inch tablet. The PadFone Mini 4.3 has a 8-megapixel camera and a 2 megapixel front camera. The phone-tablet combo is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 quad-core 1.4 GHz processor and has 1GB RAM. The PadFone Mini 4.3 is dual-SIM and includes a microSD slot (up to 64 GB). The device runs on Android Jelly Bean 4.3 and is available in black, white and pink colour options. The phone weighs 105 gram and the tablet 301 gram. The phone's display has a qHD resolution (960x540), while that of the tablet is WXGA (1280x800). The phone has comes with a 1500 mAh battery.

There's also the "New Padfone".. A 5" phone and a 10" tablet..
I just don't see the point in a big phone when you also get the tablet part. Why put two big screens in one package? Make a small phone at ~4" and then the tablet part with a big screen.
