In an effort to take on peer-to-peer online payment system PayPal, Apple last year added a new feature to Apple Pay that allows iOS users to send and receive cash in the Messages app. You can even ask Siri to initiate the transaction. On Wednesday, Apple released three short ads for this Apple Pay feature. Each one has a snazzy new tag line: "They send, you spend."

In all three spots, an iOS user needs money immediately to make a purchase. A message is eventually sent containing enough money for the transaction to be completed via Apple Pay. So whether someone is buying doughnuts, a shirt or salsa, money is a quick message away. No additional app needs to be installed, and the cards already in a user's Apple Wallet can be used to send money. Incoming funds go directly to the Apple Pay Cash card also found in the Apple Wallet app.
