Apple finally releases its first official case for the iPhone XR

Back in October, we told you that Apple would be offering a clear case for the iPhone XR. When the phone launched on October 26th, Apple's official case for the most affordable of its 2018 phones was not available. But there is good news today. Apple has finally listed the clear, see through case on the online Apple Store. Since this case is clear, it allows iPhone XR users to show off the color they selected. The handset is offered in Black, White, Blue, Yellow, Red and Coral.

The price of the case is $39 from Apple, with free shipping. The case fits perfectly over the buttons thanks to the use of clear polycarbonate mixed with flexible thermoplastic polyurethane. A scratch resistant coating is applied to both the exterior and interior of the accessory. And in case you were wondering, yes, you can wirelessly charge the iPhone XR while it is ensconced inside the case.
