Just as rumored, Apple will be holding a new event later this month that’s very likely to bring us the new iPhone SE, a new iPad, plus several fresh Apple Watch bands.

According to the invite sent by Apple to the press, the event will take place on the company’s campus in Cupertino on March 21, with the official presentation to kick off at 10:00 a.m. Of course, the firm hasn’t said anything about the devices to be unveiled, but the agenda isn’t quite a big secret.
The new iPhone SE First of all, the biggest star of the show will be the new iPhone SE, a 4-inch handset that’s expected to come as a direct successor to the iPhone 5. People close to the matter previously claimed that the new model could be called iPhone 5SE or iPhone 6C, but sticking with the iPhone SE moniker would make much more sense, given the fact that the company needs it to feel fresh and modern.
In terms of hardware, rumor has it that it will come with the same A9 and M9 chips available on the iPhone 6s and 6s Plus, but it will still lack some key features, such as 3D Touch. Yet, NFC will continue to be offered for Apple Pay - Apple actually wants to use the device to boost adoption of its paying service in the United States, as well as Touch ID for fingerprint authentication.
It’s very likely to come with two different storage options - 16 GB and 64 GB - and obviously, no microSD card support.
New iPad, Apple Watch bands, and software updates Furthermore, a new iPad is also expected to see daylight, and while it was initially believed that Apple would take the wraps off the iPad Air 3, it now seems like the company wants to unveil a smaller version of the iPad Pro. A 9.7-inch device that could feature the same hardware as the iPad Pro is possible, according to speculation online.
New Apple Watch bands will also be presented, but it’s important to note that this won’t be the second-generation Watch. The company just wants a small refresh, and bands created with premium partners around the world are expected.
And last but not least, software updates will also be announced, including iOS 9.3 that will come with a bunch of new features, among which Night Shift.
