Even though I'm an Android lover, I'm going to try to give a fair answer here.

Any unique applications: As far as I know, Chomp SMS and other apps like it are only available on the Play Store, which also seems to have more available apps than the App Store. However, sometimes the Play Store has "lag time" or gets stuck, which means you have to exit the download and go clear your cache in Settings before trying it again. I haven't had that issue with my iPod touch or my mom's iPhone.

Internet connectivity: iPhone wins this one. They tend to connect faster to the Internet and their Bluetooth function appears to work better overall.

Speed: Loading times seem to be about 50/50.

Value for money: It all boils down to what a person wants their phone to be able to do. If they want something like Microsoft Word/Excel (which all of the new S20 phones come equipped with) or they like to customize everything (like myself), Androids are definitely the way to go. If they prefer a good phone with a decent battery life and great tech support, then an iPhone would fit their needs better.

Reliability: Again, it's 50/50. In my experience, something can be well made and you can still kill it pretty quickly. On the other hand, you could have a POS that lasts forever if you don't use it too often. Another question is "are you working your phone harder than it's designed to handle?"

Ease of use: I read the iPhone was designed with seniors in mind, which explains why the items in its Settings menu don't move around with each new model. Yet I happen to like the mini-treasure hunt I get to go on every time I get a new Android. Androids also allow you to add ringtones/notifications/alarms a lot easier and don't have a length limit. In contrast, the iPhone has a 45 second (roughly...I might be off by a few seconds) ringtone limit while text tones have to be 30 seconds or less. It's also a serious PITA to add either one because it's literally a 13 step process! Whereas on the Android, a person can "drag and drop" or "copy and paste" rather quickly.

Overall: If customizing everything from your wallpaper to your text messaging app isn't a deal breaker for you, get an iPhone. If it is, go with an Android instead.

True story: After coming from a Samsung Note 5, I killed a Samsung S8 and two Samsung S9s in one and half years. I couldn't figure out why all of a sudden my battery wasn't holding a charge, so I looked it up. In layman's terms (after thirty minutes of searching for my answer in plain English versus geek speak), I found out the following:

    - 3,000 mAh batteries are designed for light use, such making phone calls and sending texts.

    - 4,000 mAh batteries are designed for moderate use, such as checking your e-mail, reading the occasional web article, etc in addition to making phone calls and sending texts.

    - 5,000 mAh batteries are designed for heavy use, AKA the people who should probably just glue their phone to their hand and be done with it. I happen to read a lot of books & fan-fiction on my phone (in addition to writing it), so I fall into the last category. Yet it turned out both the S8 and the S9s were 3,000 mAh batteries! Now you know something new...and you also know why the bigger battery phones are getting to where you should just offer up your first born child as a down payment!

I love Apple or Iphone, because the security is good, the Cell Phone Android has a lot of vulnerability.

    Bye, See you

Android on my OnePlus phone, just love the interface and features so much more than the iPhone. Not much experience withh windows phones but the little time ive had with them, didnt like it. iPhone feels more limited to what i can do without jailbreaking compared to android.
