Acquired by Apple, Beats is banned by Fifa Cup

There are few players in the World Cup that use headphones from Beats; so many that FIFA decided to ban them from entering the stadiums with something brand, which was recently bought by Apple $ 3 billion.

It turns out that Sony, Beats competitor, is the official sponsor of the event that takes place in Brazil and was facing the opposing free marketing since strong names Cup, as Brazil's Neymar and Wayne Rooney english, go side to side with the Beats headphones.

Because of the agreement with Sony, FIFA demanded that the players remain without headphones in stadiums and during events with the press, according to Reuters. But this is good news for the brand now owned by Apple.

Marketing experts say the market realizes that the players still prefer the Beats, they continue to use the headphones brand when they can, taking them only in times of prohibition.

But the Beats already knew that, because it is the expert called guerrilla marketing, the "unintentionally", so that during the London Olympics in 2012 sent thousands of free headphones to the main players, keeping in mind that win without advertising paying anything to the Olympic Committee.
