Windows Phone developer Rudy Huyn announced a few days ago a new version of 6tag will be available for download soon. Today, 6tag version 5.0 has been pushed to Windows Phone Store for everyone to take advantage of its new features.

As expected, there are quite a few improvements, but also new features that will make user experience much better. For example, there are 3 new filters available to users: Lark, Reyes and Juno.

The update also adds new functionality such as video upload from smartphone to an Instagram account, as well as the option to save video on the device.

Also, users will now be able to import / export files from other applications, including Dropbox. Emoji hashtags and a refreshed UI have been implemented as well. Last but not least, some performance improvements and bug fixes have been included too.

These are all the changes included in the latest version of 6tag, but we expect more updates that bring new feature and improvements in the not so distant future.

If you don't have this Instagram app yet, you can now download 6tag for Windows Phone for free via Windows Phone Store. The application should be fully compatible with all devices powered by Windows Phone 8 and up
