The 2018 iPhones are already getting approved by regulators, indicating launch is imminent

Apple was caught registering no less than 11 new iPhone models not long ago. Why the so many? Well, in line with the promised trio of new 2018 iPhones, as Apple has different versions with different LTE bands from each model. The iPhone X for Verizon is A1865, for instance, while the iPhone 8 for T-Mobile is A1905, and so on.

What is A1920, though? That's precisely the model that was caught off-guard at TENAA, the Chinese equivalent of the FCC, and it is still anyone's guess what would that version be. The source claims that this is the rumored 6.1" LCD model, but it could very well be the iPhone XS version for China's carriers, too.

In any case, the fact that these new iPhone model numbers are wiggling their way through the regulatory system means that the launch is imminent. Apple isn't too careful with leaks, either, as suggested press renders leaked not long ago, both of the new OLED iPhones, and of the Apple Watch.

The LCD puppy, however, is still to face the audience in a credible manner, so we'll probably have to wait until next week to see it in the flesh. Meanwhile, feast on some A1920 here, and play some guessing games which one of the three new iPhone this may be.
